About Paul Darroch

Paul qualified as a hearing aid audiologist in 1996 and obtained a further qualification in Physiological Measurement in 2003. He is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and adheres to their standards of performance, conduct and ethics. His current Practice was established in 2002 and has helped hundreds of people to improve their hearing.

Darroch Hearing Clinics provide an independent service for audiology and aural rehabilitation in Central Scotland. 

Choosing Paul Darroch as your audiologist means you have chosen a well-established hearing care clinician, with considerable experience in the assessment and management of hearing loss in adults. He offers unbiased advice and the widest range of hearing systems, so you can be assured you will receive the highest care to help you hear and communicate effectively again.

Recognising the importance of multi-disciplinary support and assistance, Paul works closely with leading ENT consultants and other medical specialists who can provide assistance. If referral is necessary, he will arrange this for you.

Steven Ross, RHAD, MSHAA

Steven spent many years at Boots the chemist where he worked as a leading audiologist at their flagship Glasgow Sauchiehall street store. Steven hen went on to Regional Management with Boots Hearingcare and was responsible for much of their professional standards that still stand today. 

Steven has also worked at a senior level for hearing aid manufacturers working on some of the leading innovations in the hearing aid profession all across the European continent.  

In 2018 Steven left the corporate lifestyle and set up Lanarkshire’s leading audiology company Lanarkshire Hearing Centre with his Wife Anne (The boss). 

With extensive knowledge in corporate hearingcare and hearing aid technology within Europe Steven is an expert in assistive communication devices and current hearing aid technology. 

Steven & Anne Joined the Darroch team in 2020 to help Paul with his growing patient base within Lanarkshire and Glasgow South.  

A self professed geek Steven loves nothing better than getting into a deep conversation about hearing aid technology. 

Steven Dad to 2 kids Alfie & Archie Ross. All boys love cycling and love nothing better than getting mums clean kitchen covered in dirt!

Kirsty Nicolson, RHAD

Kirsty Nicolson joined Darroch Hearing Clinics as a student hearing aid audiologist in 2018.

Kirsty studied Audiology at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh while under the tutelage of Paul. Kirsty has an undergraduate degree in linguistics from Glasgow University and is passionate about helping people to hear and communicate more easily. 

Kirsty has a real skill in hearing aid fittingsWith her natural compassion and kindness as well as her patience Kirsty puts all patients at ease when they receive their new hearing aids.  

Darroch Hearing Clinics is a member of the BSHAA Assured Hearing Care Scheme which is designed to give consumers confidence in their dealings with registered hearing care practitioners. Paul Darroch is a Bupa recognised healthcare professional and consultant.
